At the age of 30, Cindy Sherlock's scoliosis began to impinge on her ability to breathe. In May 2000, Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, MD, Chief of the Scoliosis Service, performed spinal fusion surgery with spinal instrumentation to straighten her spine. Following her surgery, Cindy went on to have two children, a son Liam, and daughter Remington, and today enjoys a full and active life.
